| Obverse description | Green and cream note with a bold zigzag border in dark ink. To the left, the municipal coat of arms of Eferding — a red crenellated tower on a divided shield — is surmounted by a wild man or Herkulesknabe figure in red, holding a scroll. The denomination 'Zwanzig 20 Heller' appears centrally in large Gothic script, with the numeral '20' set within a red guilloche rosette.
