Obverse description Green and cream note with a bold zigzag border in dark ink. To the left, the municipal coat of arms of Eferding — a red crenellated tower on a divided shield — is surmounted by a wild man or Herkulesknabe figure in red, holding a scroll. The denomination 'Zwanzig 20 Heller' appears centrally in large Gothic script, with the numeral '20' set within a red guilloche rosette. The note carries a guarantee text referencing the town council resolution of 24 November 1919, a facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister, and an anti-counterfeiting warning along the lower margin.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in green and black on a cream ground, enclosed by a zigzag outer border. A central oval vignette, framed by a beaded border and decorated with ivy and oak-leaf sprays in the corners, presents a fine landscape view of the parish church of Eferding with its prominent square tower, set among trees and ancillary buildings. A ribbon scroll at the top bears the year '1919', while a lower scroll cartouche carries the town name.
