H. / ist ein gemeinnütziges, für jedermann zugängliches Unternehmen zur Hebung der heimischen Produktion. / Sie übernimmt alle Eiergattungen in Lohnbrut für ihren Riesenbrüter, gibt ab Eintagsküken, züchtet Rasse- und Schlachtgeflügel, errichtet Schweinezuchtanstalten, Bienenstände, Fischzüchtereien, Gemüse- und Obstgärten und Baumschulen. / Die Genossenschaft emittiert diese unverzinslichen Kassenscheine im Gesamtbetrage von K 14.400.- und haftet für vorstehende Verbindlichkeit mit ihrem ganzen beweglichen und unbeweglichen Vermögen. Diese Scheine werden bis 31. Oktober 1920 in Zahlung genommen und in der Zeit vom 16. bis 31. This note was issued by an agricultural and forestry cooperative based in Krems an der Donau — not a municipal authority or savings institution, but a productive cooperative (Produktiv-Genossenschaft) organized under limited liability statutes. In 1920, Austria was deep in the postwar inflationary spiral that had gutted confidence in the krone, and local cooperatives, businesses, and municipalities flooded the economy with Notgeld to cover the chronic shortage of small-denomination state coinage.
Cooperative-issued Notgeld from this period is considerably less common in dealer stocks than municipal issues — the issuing bodies were smaller, print runs were modest, and redemption was often handled informally.
