| Obverse description | The left half of the note is divided into two vignettes: an oval inset at upper centre shows the ruins of the Galgenmäuer am Dinglberg, while a large rectangular vignette below presents a detailed line-engraved view of Schloss Kreisbach as it appeared in 1650, set against a hilly landscape. The denomination numeral '20' appears in bold Gothic script at upper left and upper right flanking the oval vignette. The right half carries the issuing text in Fraktur script, the redemption clause, the date 'Kreisbach, im Mai 1920', and three manuscript signatures above their respective titles. |
