| Obverse description | Printed in reddish-brown on cream paper with a decorative border of interlaced ornamental motifs. The issuer's name "Gemeinde Klaus" appears in large Gothic blackletter script across the upper portion, while the denomination "20 Heller" is displayed in bold Gothic numerals and text to the left. A central vignette presents a detailed topographic view of the Vestung Klaus fortress above the Steyr river valley as it appeared in 1674, with the caption "Steyr-Fluss" and "VESTUNG CLAUS 06.Okt.1674" inscribed below the scene.
