| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse repeats the same design as the obverse, with an identical olive-gold and navy blue scrollwork border of acanthus volutes enclosing the numeral '20' in each corner. The central cartouche reproduces the full issuing authority text and 'NOTGELD' legend in identical letterpress typography, including the denomination 'ZWANZIG HELLER', the place and date, and the two facsimile official signatures; the designer's credit 'Curt Sauer fecit.' appears again at the lower left margin. |

| Opmerkingen |
Kirchberg am Wagram is a small market town in Lower Austria's wine country, and like hundreds of similar municipalities it issued its own Notgeld during the postwar currency chaos of 1920 — a period when the new Austrian republic was hemorrhaging value and small coin had effectively vanished from everyday commerce. These local emergency issues filled the fractional gap that the central authorities couldn't.
Curt Sauer's involvement is notable: he was among the more prolific designers of Lower Austrian Notgeld series, and his commissions often show deliberate regional character rather than the generic ornamental work common to the period.
