| Opmerkingen |
Jochberg is a small Tyrolean village in the Kitzbühel district, and its decision to issue Notgeld in 1920 reflects just how thoroughly the collapse of the Habsburg monetary system pushed even the smallest Austrian municipalities into producing their own emergency scrip. Wagner in Innsbruck was a reliable regional printer for Tyrolean municipal notes of this period — their name appears across dozens of similar village issues from the same years.
The JPR prefix in the Jaksc reference system distinguishes these Austrian municipal pieces from the broader German Notgeld catalogues, a distinction that still catches collectors off guard.
