| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse is printed in brown on plain light paper and reproduces the same central composition as the obverse — two masked carnival figures with large floral headdresses flanking the central denomination panel bearing the numeral '20', above the Imst municipal arms. The redemption inscription and Bürgermeister's facsimile signature are repeated below, though without the orange underprint tint present on the obverse, giving the reverse a starker, unadorned appearance. |

| Opmerkingen |
Imst is a small Tyrolean market town, and this 20 Heller note is a product of the Notgeld wave that swept Austrian municipalities from 1919 onward — local authorities printing their own fractional emergency currency to compensate for the chronic coin shortage that followed the collapse of the Habsburg monetary system. Deutsche Buchdruckerei in Innsbruck handled production for numerous Tyrolean towns during this period, which makes distinguishing between issues a matter of serial placement and overprint details rather than print quality.
