| Obverse description | Plain cream-white paper with a fine diagonal line underprint across the entire field. The title legend 'Kassenschein der Stadtgemeinde Horn' appears in bold blackletter type at the top, followed by 'über' centred below. A central rectangular vignette in blue carries a geometric floral guilloche pattern with the denomination '20' in large numerals flanked by 'Heller' on either side in bold type. Below the vignette, a three-line guarantee text is printed in Gothic script, followed by the issue date 'Horn, am 25. Jänner 1920' and three manuscript-style signature lines identifying the Vizebürgermeister, Bürgermeister, and Gemeinderat. |

| Reverse description | Unadorned cream paper with the heading 'Kassenschein der Stadtgemeinde Horn über' in roman type, beneath which 'Zwanzig Heller.' is printed in a large blackletter script. A lengthy justification text in Gothic typeface explains the issue's purpose — relief of the small-change shortage — and specifies the total issue of 100,000 Kronen, the non-interest-bearing nature of the notes, and their acceptance and redemption terms through 31 July 1920. A final line in Gothic script reads 'Die Nachahmung wird gesetzlich bestraft.' |
