| Obverse description | Cream-toned notgeld issued on 25 January 1920, with the heading 'Kassenschein der Stadtgemeinde Horn' in Gothic blackletter script at the top. A decorative Art Nouveau border in blue-grey guilloche surrounds the central denomination panel, which carries the numeral '20' flanked by the word 'Heller' on either side in bold Gothic type. Below the denomination panel, a three-line guarantee text states the municipality's liability, followed by three facsimile signatures of the Vizebürgermeister (F. Maudner), Bürgermeister (A. Wislsperger), and Gemeinderat (R. Haagen). |
