| Obverse description | Printed in dark brown on pink paper, the left portion of the note carries a landscape vignette of a rugged alpine rock formation — identifiable as the Stoderzinken massif — rendered in a bold woodcut style with pine trees in the upper corners and the denomination numeral '20' repeated at lower left and right. The right half is divided by a vertical rule and contains the denomination 'GUTSCHEIN / 20 / HELLER.' in large Gothic blackletter type, followed by the issuing authority text and the date 'Hinterstoder, am 14. April 1920' with a facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister, Hans Flacke. |
