Hall in Tirol was one of hundreds of Austrian municipalities and private entities that issued Notgeld during the postwar coin shortage — but most such issues came from municipal governments or savings institutions. A private company issuing its own fractional emergency currency was less common, and the Gesellschaft Einsiedler's involvement points almost certainly to a brewery or similar local enterprise whose workers needed small-denomination change that simply wasn't available through normal channels.
Deutsche Buchdruckerei in Innsbruck handled a significant volume of Tyrolean Notgeld printing during this period, making attribution of this issue straightforward.
