Obverse description The obverse presents a detailed woodcut-style vignette of a rural Austrian farmstead with a thatched-roof house surrounded by trees, before which stands a female figure in traditional dress holding a long rake or pole. The denomination '20 HELLER' is printed in large bold Gothic lettering across the upper portion of the note, while the lower margin carries the inscriptions 'ANNO', 'Goldwascherhäusl', and the number '800', flanked by decorative floral and scroll ornaments. The artist's signature 'J. E. Kleinert' appears within the vignette at lower left.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in dark green ink on plain paper and consists entirely of text set within a decorative border formed by a continuous chain of small circular and oval ornamental dots. The face value '20' appears in bold numerals within rounded cartouches at both left and right, while two lines of fine horizontal microprint-style ruling serve as simple security underlines between the text blocks.
