正面描述 Green letterpress note on buff paper with a symmetrical border layout. The central vignette presents a line-engraved view of the Beethoven memorial in Gneixendorf near Krems, rendered in fine detail with surrounding trees, rocks, and garden plantings, captioned below the image. Denomination numerals '20' appear in each corner flanked by circular wreath vignettes at left and right, with the title 'Kassenschein der Gemeinde Gneixendorf' set in Gothic blackletter across the top; three manuscript signatures with role designations appear in the lower central field.

备注

Gneixendorf is a small village near Krems an der Donau in Lower Austria, known primarily to music historians as the place where Beethoven spent his final autumn in 1826, composing the finale of his String Quartet Op. 135. The municipal 20 Heller note has nothing to do with that — it belongs to the vast Austrian Notgeld phenomenon of 1920–1921, when coin shortages forced thousands of tiny communities to print their own low-denomination scrip.

At the village level, print runs were small and distribution was purely local. Many of these issues were redeemed quickly and pulped, making intact survivors more common in collector sets than in any genuine circulation story.
