| Opmerkingen |
Feuersbrunn is a small wine-growing village in Lower Austria, and this 20 Heller note is a product of the Notgeld wave that swept Austrian municipalities after the First World War — a period when small-denomination coins had effectively vanished from circulation through hoarding and wartime metal demands. Thousands of Austrian communes issued their own emergency paper in 1919–1920, most printed by a handful of Vienna-based lithographers who handled the volume on short turnaround.
F. Seitenberg in Vienna's third district was one of the minor players in that market. The JPR reference places this within the Jaksch catalogue of Austrian Notgeld, the standard tool for this material.
