背面描述 The reverse carries a central circular vignette of the municipal coat of arms of Enns, suspended within a decorative swag and drapery border. 'Zweite Auflage' (Second Issue) appears at upper left and upper right, with the redemption deadline 'Einlösungszeit bis 31. Dezember 1920' at left and the anti-counterfeiting warning 'Nachahmung wird gesetzlich bestraft' at right. The main text block states the total issuance liability of 56,000 Kronen, followed by four facsimile signatures of municipal officials and the printer's imprint 'Buchdruckerei Enns' at the foot.

备注

Enns — often cited as the oldest town in Austria, with Roman origins as Lauriacum — issued this 20 Heller Notgeld in 1920 during the currency chaos that followed the collapse of the Habsburg empire. Municipal authorities across Austria were printing their own small-denomination emergency money to offset a crippling shortage of coins, and Stadtgemeinde Enns was no exception. The Buchdruckerei Enns produced the note locally, which was typical of Notgeld economics: keep the contract in town, pay in the same scrip you're printing.

The "Egelsee" designation refers to a specific local topographic feature, part of a series of themed Notgeld issues that Enns released across multiple denominations.
