| 正面铭文 | Gutschein der Marktgemeinde Aschbach 20 Zwanzig Heller Die Gemeinde haftet für die Verbindlichkeit bis zum 31. Dez. 1920 Aschbach im April 1920 Vizebürgermeister: der Bürgermeister: Gemeinderat: |
| 背面描述 | Tan and brown reverse with a geometric square-motif border framing the entire field. A faint decorative underprint of interlaced floral arabesque fills the central area. At the top, the designer's credit 'Entwurf: Erwin Strondl.' is printed in small Fraktur script. The denomination '20' appears in large bold numerals at each upper corner flanking the centred Gothic-script heading 'Zwanzig Heller', separated by decorative dot-and-rule ornaments. Below, a lengthy text block in Fraktur typeface sets out the legal authority for the issue, its non-interest-bearing status, and the redemption and counterfeiting-penalty clauses. The printer's imprint 'Druck von F. Kielar, Amstetten.' runs along the bottom margin. |

| 备注 |
Austrian Notgeld at its most local — this 20 Heller piece was issued by the market town of Aschbach during the chaotic inflationary period following the collapse of the Habsburg empire, when small municipalities across Austria were forced to produce their own emergency fractional currency simply to make change. The central government couldn't supply coins fast enough. Thousands of communes issued their own notes; Aschbach was one of hundreds in Lower Austria alone.
F. Kielar of Amstetten handled the printing — a regional firm serving the local trade rather than a specialist security printer, which is typical for Notgeld of this tier. Erwin Strondl is credited as designer.
