| Obverse description | The obverse presents a colourful letterpress vignette in pink and teal tones, centred on the municipal coat of arms of Aschach, quartered with grape clusters and vine leaves, surmounted by a ribbon inscribed 'Notgeld 1920'. Flanking the shield are two full-length figures in period costume — a traveller in a red coat with walking stick at left, and a labourer carrying a bundle at right — set against a distant landscape with rolling hills. The denomination '20 Heller' appears in all four corners and again on a stone tablet at the base, with the issuer inscription along the lower border in Gothic script; the names 'Pickard Kling' and 'Franz Herrmann' are noted in the lower margins. |
