| Obverse description | Notgeld issued by the municipality of Altschwendt, printed on pink-toned paper with a fine guilloche wave underprint covering the entire field. The outer border consists of a geometric ornamental frame with corner rosettes, enclosing the denomination numeral '20' at upper left alongside a decorative vertical Art Nouveau cartouche. The central text panel, set against a plain background, carries the value legend in large Gothic blackletter script, accompanied by a redemption clause and the countersignature of the Bürgermeister. |
