| Obverse description | The upper portion of the note is dominated by the large Gothic-script title 'Gutschein' flanked by circular denomination roundels bearing the numeral '20' at left and right. Below the title, the issuer legend 'der Gemeinde Altenfelden' is set in italic script, above the denomination 'Zwanzig Heller' in bold blackletter. A panoramic vignette of the Altenfelden townscape, signed 'B. Derschmidt', occupies the central register, with the distinctive church tower at left and village buildings extending to the right amid trees and open sky. A text panel at the base carries the legal obligation clause in German, dated 24. April 1920, and bears a manuscript authorization signature at lower right. |
