| 表面の説明 | The obverse is printed in dark blue on cream paper and carries a central vignette of Schloss Riedegg, a large manor complex set amid trees, rendered in a detailed line-engraving style within an arched frame. The denomination numeral '20' appears in a circular cartouche at the top centre, flanked by the Gothic-script legend 'Zwanzig Heller' across the upper register. The lower portion bears the issuer inscription 'Gutschein der Gemeinde Alberndorf' in ornate Gothic lettering, with decorative floral scroll borders framing the entire composition; the artist's signature 'L. Haase' is visible in the lower right margin. |

Austrian municipal notgeld from the inflationary period following the collapse of the Habsburg monarchy. With federal and regional authorities unable to maintain adequate coin supplies in 1919–1920, hundreds of Upper Austrian villages authorized their own small-denomination paper issues — Alberndorf among them. These were legal within a narrow emergency framework and intended purely for local retail use.
L. Haase as designer is an uncommon credit for a village-level issue; most Gemeinde notgeld of this type was produced by regional printers without individual attribution. The two signatories, Danninger and Wöckinger, were almost certainly local municipal officials rather than bank officers.
