背面描述 Plain paper reverse printed in black Fraktur script within a dotted rectangular border, carrying the redemption guarantee text of the commune and the facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister. A ghost underprint of the obverse design is visible through the thin paper stock. The edition notation '2. Auflage 60 Stück' appears at the lower left, confirming this as the second print run of only 60 pieces.

备注

Aisthofen is a small village in Upper Austria, and this note is a product of the Notgeld wave that swept through Austria in 1920, when the postwar currency collapse left small communities without enough small-denomination coins for daily commerce. Communes issued their own emergency scrip by the thousands — Aisthofen among them — typically in runs small enough to be redeemed locally within months.

The Bürgermeister's signature, Schützenhofer, is the only individual accountability attached to this piece of municipal credit.
