(Translation: Municipal voucher 20 Heller Zehetgrub)
背面描述 The reverse carries a decorative border frame enclosing a block of German text in black letterpress. The title 'Gutschein der Gemeinde Zehetgrub in Nied.-Öst.' is set in bold at the head of the text block, followed by a humorous verse about the note's collectability. Three signature lines with printed names and official titles appear in the lower portion, above the validity date.

备注

Zehetgrub is a tiny village in Lower Austria, and this 20 Heller note is a product of the Notgeld wave that swept Austria between roughly 1919 and 1921, when postwar coin shortages forced even the smallest municipalities to print their own emergency scrip. Communes with populations measured in the dozens were issuing paper — Zehetgrub among them.

Three signatories for a village note is notable. It suggests the local authority took the obligation seriously, requiring multiple officials to validate what was, legally, a binding community debt.
