正面描述 Blue letterpress impression on cream paper within a scalloped decorative border, centred on a landscape vignette of stone ruins seen through a gateway with trees and open countryside beyond. The denomination numeral '20' appears at the upper centre, flanked by the Gothic-script legends 'Gutschein' and 'Gemeinde', with 'Luftenberg' set in bold Gothic lettering within a scroll cartouche at the foot of the design; oval medallions bearing heraldic shields with crossed implements occupy either side of the central vignette. The printer's imprint 'L. Haase Linz' is noted at the lower right margin.

背面描述 Blue letterpress impression on cream paper enclosed by an ornate foliate border of scrollwork and stylised leaf motifs at the corners. The upper portion carries a four-line verse in Gothic script lamenting wartime hardship, below which a block of authorising text in Gothic hand records the municipal council resolution of 2 May 1920, the total issue of 30,000 Kronen, the redemption date of 31 December 1920 at the Gemeindekasse, and a statutory counterfeiting warning. A handwritten mayoral signature appears at the lower right above a small fan-shaped ornamental device at the base centre.

备注

Luftenberg is a small municipality on the Danube east of Linz, and this 20 Heller note is a product of the Notgeld wave that swept Austrian communities in the immediate postwar years — a period when small coin had effectively vanished from circulation and towns were left to print their own fractional currency. L. Haase was a Linz-based printing firm that supplied Notgeld to numerous Upper Austrian communities during this period, which is why the design sensibility across the regional series feels consistent even where the issuing authority changes.

The Jaksc catalogue reference places this squarely within the documented Upper Austrian municipal issues. Not scarce in absolute terms, but individual community printings rarely survive in large numbers.
