| Obverse description | Printed in dark brown ink on salmon-toned paper, the obverse is framed by an ornate border of repeated scrollwork and dotted rules. The heading "Gutschein der Gemeinde Garsten" is set in Gothic blackletter type at the top, above a central dark cartouche bearing the denomination "Zwanzig Heller" in bold script. Four corner vignettes contain local emblems — crossed miners' tools at upper left and upper right, and numeral "20" within circular frames at lower left and lower right — while a central text panel states the redemption conditions, signed below by the Bürgermeister and two Vizebürgermeister. |
