A Notgeld issue from the small Upper Austrian lakeside community of Nussdorf am Attersee, printed locally by the Salzkammergut-Druckerei in Gmunden — a press that handled a large volume of regional emergency currency during the postwar crisis years. Austria's acute coin shortage after 1918 forced thousands of municipalities to issue their own small-denomination notes, and the 20 Heller was among the most common values requested for everyday transactions.

Signed by Anton Wiesinger, presumably the Bürgermeister or a designated municipal official at the time of issue. Collector interest in Attersee-region Notgeld has been consistent, partly driven by local tourism.
