| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central device features the Czechoslovak heraldic lion rampant, depicted with a double tail, bearing a shield charged with the Slovak double cross on its breast, rendered in high relief in the Art Deco style. The circular legend REPUBLIKA ČESKOSLOVENSKÁ arcs around the periphery, with the date 1931 inscribed in the lower exergual area beneath the lion. The design is the work of engraver Otakar Španiel, reflecting the refined medallic aesthetic characteristic of the interwar Czechoslovak coinage program. |

Trial strikes from the Czechoslovak State Mint in the early 1930s were produced as internal production tests rather than for submission to any approving authority — the designs for circulating coinage had largely been settled in the previous decade. This piece exists in the gap between confirmed approval and full production runs, struck to verify die alignment, alloy behavior, and press calibration. Very few left the mint in any official capacity.
KM# Pn10 is one of several pattern and trial designations from this period that remain incompletely documented in the primary literature.
