An open laurel wreath frames the lower half of the design, its branches extending symmetrically from the base. The cancellation marks, consisting of two deep intersecting lines forming a cross, are characteristic of cancelled trial dies used by the Mint of Poland to render experimental pieces invalid for circulation. |
