| Obverse description | Central device features the Polish state eagle displayed, with wings spread and talons clasping, rendered in the Socialist-era style without a crown. The eagle occupies the centre of the field, with the circular legend POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA arranged around the periphery.
