| Obverse description | An oval vignette at left contains a portrait of the Flemish Baroque painter Peter Paul Rubens, rendered in fine intaglio line work. To the right, the large guilloche numeral '20' is set within an ornate typographic and vignette surround bearing the issuer's name 'SOCIETE GENERALE DE BELGIQUE' at top and the date of issue below. Two signature lines for the Directeur-Trésorier and the Gouverneur appear beneath the central text block, with a penal warning legend at the foot. |
