The Democratic Republic of Congo has issued collector silver under the "Lion" series for several years, typically through licensing arrangements with European minting agencies — the actual striking almost certainly done in Belgium or Germany rather than Kinshasa. KM#417.1 distinguishes the colorized variant from the uncolorized strikes within the same release.
