Reverse description The reverse displays the elaborately detailed Royal Arms of Belgium, featuring the crowned shield bearing the Belgian lion rampant, supported by two lions and draped with a mantle tied with ribbon. The shield is flanked by decorative scrollwork and the national motto on a ribbon below. The denomination 20 FR appears in the upper field on either side of the crown, while the date 1866 is inscribed in the exergue, all within a beaded border.
