| 正面描述 | Bare head of King Charles X facing right, modeled in the neoclassical style by engraver Michaut, whose name appears in small lettering beneath the truncation. The legend CHARLES X ROI DE FRANCE is disposed on both sides of the effigy, reading around the circumference of the coin. The portrait presents the king with naturalistic facial features and a plain, unadorned neck truncation characteristic of the Restoration-period French gold coinage. |

| 背面描述 | The crowned coat of arms of France — the fleurs-de-lis shield surmounted by a royal crown — is centrally placed in the field, flanked on either side by crossed olive branches. The denomination 20 F appears divided on either side of the shield, with the mint year and mint mark inscribed below in the exergue area. The overall composition is clean and heraldic, consistent with Restoration-era French gold coinage design conventions. |

Charles X's reign produced this gold 20 Francs against a backdrop of mounting constitutional crisis. His government's July Ordinances of 1830 — suspending the press, dissolving the newly elected Chamber, and narrowing the electorate — triggered the Three Glorious Days revolution within hours of publication. Minting continued at Paris through the final months before his abdication, meaning the latest-dated pieces in this series were struck while barricades were going up in the streets outside.
Three Fleury reference numbers reflect the Paris, Lille, and other provincial mint issues across the reign's six years.
