Clément Serveau's designs for Banque de l'Indo-Chine were engraved by Ernest Deloche at the Banque de France's printing workshops in Paris — the same atelier responsible for France's own circulating notes, which accounts for the technically assured intaglio work found on this series. Marguerite Dreyfus, who signed her work "Rita," handled the reverse engraving, one of the few women credited by name on colonial currency plates of this period.
The long date span — a full decade of issue — means two distinct signature combinations appear under Pick #7, reflecting administrative changes at the bank's management level rather than any reissue or design modification.
