背面描述 Central design features the denomination '٢٠ فلس' (20 Fils) inscribed within a raised circular cartouche, surrounded by a radiating sunburst pattern of lines that divide the field into decorative segments. The Arabic legend 'المملكة العراقية' (Kingdom of Iraq) is distributed in ornate calligraphic script across the lower portion of the field. The Hijri date '١٣٥٢' appears to the right and the Christian date '١٩٣٣' to the left, flanking the central cartouche. The overall design reflects a formal heraldic layout characteristic of British-influenced coinage produced at the Royal Mint.

附加信息

Iraq's first national coinage — including this 20 fils — was authorized following the Anglo-Iraqi Treaty of 1922 and struck at the Royal Mint in London. The series launched under Faisal I represented the first time an Arab state under the modern mandate system had issued coins in its own name, a direct product of Faisal's political maneuvering after the French ejected him from Syria in 1920. Britain installed him in Baghdad as a calculated compromise.

Faisal died in September 1933, cutting the series short. Coins dated to that final year carry no visible distinction from earlier strikes but represent the last months of his reign.
