Obverse description The Holy Crown of Saint Stephen depicted in fine detail at the center of the field, rendered with its characteristic arched diadem, pendants (függők), and cross potent finial atop the dome. The date appears in the lower field beneath the crown. The circular legend MAGYAR KIRÁLYI VÁLTÓPÉNZ (Hungarian Royal Small Change) runs along the upper periphery, with a six-pointed star ornament at the base, all within a beaded border.
