| 表面の説明 | The obverse features a naturalistic composition depicting a European tree frog (Hyla arborea) perched among water reeds, accompanied by a dragonfly in flight, rendered in fine relief. The Slovak coat of arms appears in the lower right field, with the date of issue '2023' inscribed directly above it. The legend 'SLOVENSKO' is engraved along the upper right periphery. Along the lower edge, the Kremnica Mint mark — the letters 'MK' flanked by two die symbols — is present, accompanied to its left by the stylised initials 'RL' denoting the coin's designer, Roman Lugár. |

Vihorlat is a volcanic mountain range in far eastern Slovakia, geologically distinct from the Western Carpathians that dominate the rest of the country. The National Bank of Slovakia has issued regional landscape coins in this silver format since the early 2000s, and Vihorlat — with its crater lake Morské oko — was a notably late addition to the series given the area's ecological significance as a protected nature reserve.
