| Reverse description | The reverse presents a stag drinking from the shores of Morské oko lake, with concentric ripples spreading across the water's surface and a panoramic mountain range forming the backdrop, all enclosed within a raised semicircular border line. Above the semicircular frame, the denomination and currency unit '20 EURO' are inscribed in the upper field. The legend 'CHRÁNENÁ KRAJINNÁ OBLASŤ VIHORLAT' (Vihorlat Protected Landscape Area) arcs along the upper periphery of the coin, outside the semicircular border, in a refined sans-serif lettering style. |

| Additional information |
Vihorlat is a volcanic mountain range in far eastern Slovakia, geologically distinct from the Western Carpathians that dominate the rest of the country. The National Bank of Slovakia has issued regional landscape coins in this silver format since the early 2000s, and Vihorlat — with its crater lake Morské oko — was a notably late addition to the series given the area's ecological significance as a protected nature reserve.
