| Descrizione del rovescio | The piece represents a copper ciborium (Musée d`inventaire n. B/803, h. 9.3 x 6.7 cm) engraved with a motif of red foliage and flowers, enhanced by a background of blue-gray enamel. Produced by a Limoges workshop in the second half of the 13th century, it is a well-made object unique to collections in this region. This museum piece was donated to the new `Musée des pouvoirs publics` between 1867 and 1868 by Count Carlo Bruc De, a distinguished Neapolitan physician of French origin, to whom the museum owes other generous donations. |
