In the background the alternating symbols of the Cyprus pound and the euro refer to the official currency during the fifty year period. The coin’s nominal value of €20 is also depicted and there is circular inscription of the phrase «ΚΕΝΤΡΙΚΗ ΤΡΑΠΕΖΑ ΤΗΣ ΚΥΠΡΟΥ 50 ΧΡΟΝΙΑ». |
