| 正面描述 | At center, the stylized Lithuanian state coat of arms — the Vytis, depicting an armored knight on horseback within a shield-shaped frame — rendered in a decorative Renaissance-influenced style. The legend LIETUVA is inscribed at the top of the field, with the date 2015 to the left and the denomination 20 € to the right of the central device. An ornate foliate and interlace border frames the entire design, consistent with the heraldic decorative vocabulary of 16th-century Lithuanian Grand Duchy art. The mint mark LMK appears in the lower field. |

Mikalojus Radvila Juodasis — Nicolaus Radziwill the Black — was the most powerful Protestant magnate in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania during the sixteenth century, instrumental in spreading Calvinist reform across the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. He financed the 1563 Brest Bible, the first complete translation of scripture into Polish, an undertaking of considerable political as well as religious weight. He died in 1565, and within a generation his family had reverted to Catholicism, making his reformist legacy unusually short-lived for its scale.
