The figure is rendered in polychrome against a mirror-finish silver field, within a geometric framework of intersecting diagonal lines evoking rays of divine light. A rocky landscape with architectural elements is visible in low relief behind the saint in the background. The denomination 20 EURO and the issuer legend CITTÀ DEL VATICANO are distributed across the lower and lateral fields in a bold modern typeface, with the Rome Mint mark R to the right. |
