| Obverse description | The obverse features two Lipizzaner stallions rearing and facing one another, rendered in fine relief at the centre of the field — a celebrated motif representing Slovenia's renowned equestrian heritage. The country name 'SLOVENIJA' and the breed name 'LIPICANEC' are arranged in a circular legend around the central design, interspersed with six five-pointed stars.
