Reverse description The reverse features the revised map of the European Union extending to the east, symbolising the enlargement of the EU beyond the original fifteen member states. The face value '20' appears to the left of the map, with the inscription 'EURO CENT' below, and the mintmaster's initials 'LL' of engraver Luc Luycx are present in the field. The design is set against a finely lined background and conforms to the common reverse design introduced for euro coinage from 2007 onward.
