| 正面描述 | Armored equestrian effigy of Elector John George II advancing to the right, his right arm raised and shouldering a sword; the horse is depicted in a stately, controlled pose. Below the horse, the Saxon coat of arms is displayed, surmounted by the imperial orb (Reichsapfel). The composition is rendered in high relief with bold, sculptural detail characteristic of large-format Saxon gold presentation coinage. The date 1657 and the dedicatory legend DEO ET PATRIÆ appear in the field. |

| 背面描述 | The entire reverse field is occupied by a twelve-line Latin inscription in bold capital lettering, filling the coin from rim to rim without any pictorial device. The text sets out in full the titles and dignities of John George II as Duke of Saxony, Arch-Marshal and Elector of the Holy Roman Empire, Imperial Vicar following the death of Emperor Ferdinand III, Landgrave of Thuringia, Margrave of Meissen, Burgrave of Magdeburg, Count of Mark and Ravensberg, and Lord of Ravenstein. The lettering is deeply and crisply engraved in a Renaissance lapidary style, with stops separating the abbreviated titles throughout. A trefoil or club ornament appears at the conclusion of the inscription. The milled border is clearly visible around the entire circumference. |
