| Obverse description | The Fijian coat of arms occupies the central field, featuring a quartered shield bearing a British lion passant guardant in the chief, with sugar cane, a coconut palm, a dove of peace, and a bunch of bananas in the quarters, surmounted by a sailing canoe. Two Fijian warriors in traditional dress serve as supporters on either side of the shield, each holding a traditional weapon. A scroll below the shield bears the national motto in the Fijian language. The legend FIJI arcs above along the rim, and the date 2013 appears below. |
