Singapore's Lunar Series coins are struck by the Singapore Mint on behalf of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, a program running continuously since the 1980s and one of the longest-unbroken official lunar bullion series in Southeast Asia. The 2021 Ox issue falls in the third cycle of the twelve-year rotation. Mintages for these 5-troy-ounce pieces are tightly controlled, and secondary market premiums over spot have historically held firm on the Singapore Lunar series relative to comparable regional issues from Australia or China.
