| 背面描述 | A detailed battle scene commemorating the War of 1812 fills the central field, depicting infantry soldiers engaged in combat alongside cavalry mounted on horseback and artillery cannons positioned in the foreground. The composition conveys the intensity of early 19th-century warfare through dynamic figural arrangement. The legend 'WAR OF 1812' arcs prominently along the upper border, with 'AMERICA AT WAR' inscribed below the central scene. The denomination '20 DOLLARS' appears along the lower rim. The design is executed in high-relief proof finish. |

Liberia produced commemorative silver issues in bulk during the late 1990s and early 2000s, many struck by the Pobjoy Mint and similar private facilities catering to the collector market rather than domestic circulation. The War of 1812 subject had no connection to Liberia whatsoever — the republic wasn't founded until 1847 — making this one of dozens of Liberian-licensed pieces that used the country's issuing authority purely as a vehicle for international coin sales.
