Triton Systems of Delaware produced these calibration notes for use in testing and aligning the cash dispensing mechanisms of their ATM units — they were never intended to enter circulation and carry no monetary value. The word "VOID" or equivalent non-negotiable markings were standard, specifically to prevent accidental or fraudulent use if a unit was serviced in a public-facing environment.

Collectors pursue these as ATM ephemera rather than currency proper. Triton was one of the dominant independent ATM manufacturers in the U.S. market from the 1990s onward, supplying heavily to convenience and retail locations.
