| 背面描述 | The reverse presents a dramatic full-field depiction of a Thai Black Tarantula (Haplopelma minax) rendered in high relief with selective coloring, its dark body accented with vivid orange-gold highlights along the joints and setae, conveying a sense of menace and naturalistic precision. The arachnid is shown from a dorsal-frontal perspective with all eight legs splayed across the field. In the background, stylized human skulls emerge from the darkened, textured field, reinforcing the series' dark aesthetic. The curved legend DARK NATURE arcs along the upper left portion of the field. |

Palau has operated one of the most commercially aggressive numismatic programs of any small Pacific nation since the 1990s, licensing its issuing authority to European minting houses — primarily the Polish Mint and B.H. Mayer — who produce themed collector series with virtually no connection to Palauan history or culture. This coin is one such product. The Thai Black Tarantula (Haplopelma minax) has no ecological or political relationship to Palau whatsoever.
The KM#1010 reference places it within a sprawling wildlife series that has generated hundreds of catalog numbers over roughly two decades of continuous production.
