| 正面描述 | The central field displays the coat of arms of the Republic of Palau, depicting Neptune seated with trident and a mermaid, set within a decorative shield flanked by local fauna, surmounted by a traditional outrigger canoe. The legend REPUBLIC OF PALAU arcs above the arms, accompanied by six stars in the surrounding field. Below the shield appears the series inscription RAINBOW'S END and the denomination 20$. The inner border features a polished black annular band, while the broad outer border is rendered in the form of interlocking jigsaw puzzle pieces, with scattered missing pieces creating a trompe-l'oeil effect. The series titles MICROPUZZLE at top and TREASURES at bottom are boldly inscribed within the puzzle-piece border. |

Palau has operated as a prolific novelty mint client since the late 1990s, licensing its sovereign authority to European minting houses — primarily the Bavarian State Mint and B.H. Mayer's — to produce high-premium collector pieces that bear no relation to domestic circulation. The "Rêverie" issue is one such product: a French-titled piece issued by a Micronesian republic with no French-speaking population, minted almost certainly in Germany or Austria, and sold entirely to overseas collectors through dealer networks.
KM#919 places it within a catalog sequence so dense with Palauan novelty issues that Krause required significant reorganization of the country's listings after 2010.
